did he have the midi in 88? Not saying you're wrong I just remember mid 89 when he satrted switching out guitars as each one got customized. If it was 88 I'd like to go back and listen to some of the earlier shows to see the transition. Can't say I was a fan of the midi but I did like Let it grow after it came into play

I remember, and I think it was as early as late 88, that Jerry would bust out a different midi guitar during Space almost exclusively and fool around with it. Wasn't until 89 sometime where he started using midi in regular songs, most likely when he had Wolf fitted for midi on the fall tour, I think.
